As you’ve come to expect with CAM, these nugs are chunky and frost-covered. These dark flowers have a hard, nobby surface colored purple and green, but it’s almost hard to tell from underneath that shiny layer of “tri-chrome.” 

There’s a lot of the bright fruity Sunset Sherbert that comes through on the initial smell, which is impressive considering the amount of off-gassing these fuel rods do inside the bag. Pop a nug open and catch a noseful of racing fuel that’s been brewed from pine cones and a touch of sourdough. 

Before you light up, the dry inhale tastes like natural bitters, giving off a bit of black licorice and aromatic herbs. Afterward, gusts of sour-sweet sherbert and high octane gas blow back & forth, carrying you away and dropping you onto the couch.

Despite the name, High Octane OG is perfect for a lazy morning. Time slowly passes by as you feel comfy, stable, and alert. Relaxed without feeling overly impaired, this is great for catching up with friends and family, both in-person and via chat. 

There’s a catch, though. It’s difficult to hide the physical effects of this strain. So unless you’re using a sunglasses filter, be ready for someone to comment on your red, half-closed eyes.
