CAM and ISPIRE
CAM’s disposable vape pens have been on the scene for six months now and we’re hearing nothing but great things from you CAMsters. With so much interest in our pens, we figured it was a great opportunity to do a little Q and A with our friends at Ispire to tell you about why we chose Ispire to be the partner for CAM on-the-go.
A Little About The DuCore Pen
Ducore was released by Ispire in 2020 and is actually patented technology. No other vape hardware manufacturer can offer this. It features a stainless steel chimney. The ceramic heating core has two coils, which spread the heat more evenly to avoid over-burning the oil. The ceramic heating core is also a little longer than the standard, which helps to dissipate the heat generated from the coils. The outer coating is a food-grade safe silicone coating that is applied to the surface of the device to give it that special soft-touch feel.
For safety reasons, the disposable vaporizer batteries are not shipped fully charged; it’s recommended that you charge your CAM vaporizer after a day of use to get the full expression of the terpenes. If the battery is close to needing to be charged, you may experience minor popping sounds. This is because the coil doesn’t receive enough power to vaporize all the oil in the heating core. That popping noise is the little bit of leftover oil being heated up and will go away once the unit is charged.
What Makes Ducore Special?
Dealing with leakage and airflow were the two main missions in creating the Ducore. The unit has side airflow with a special overflow chamber. If the device is left in extreme temperatures, oil can leak out of the tank and into the overflow chamber. During the next hit, the airflow will pull that oil back to the heating core and vaporize it completely. It also has an enlarged ceramic heating core with dual air paths AND coils. This allows for more balanced heat distribution, with larger hits at lower temps and superior flavor by conserving the terpenes.
Testing
Ispire runs all of its devices through a rigorous testing process. Technicians test each device using a wide range of oil viscosities, from oil thinner than anything on the market to oil thicker than any brand would use. They pull the vapor into their mouths and exhale through the nose, which gives a strong indication as to how much the device might be burning the terpenes. A case of “burnt terps” will often irritate the sinuses, causing sneezing.
Once the device has passed each round of in-house testing, Ispire prepares 2,000 samples for their Pilot Program, which arranges for samples to be picked up by some of the most trusted individuals in the industry in order to get their opinion of how the device functions.
What Makes Ducore the choice for CAMsters?
Ispire believes in using only the highest quality components, such as stainless steel chimneys. The ceramic heating core’s two coils, which spread the heat more evenly, were designed to avoid over-burning the delicate flavors of some of our more modern crosses. That ceramic heating core is also a little longer than the standard, which helps to dissipate the heat generated from the coils and lets you take multiple rips without ending up with a burnt hit and a hot battery in your pocket.
We’re so happy to be partners with Ispire because they believe in constantly improving and working with us to not just release a quality product but ensure that we stay at the forefront of technology and quality every year.
