Bubba’s Girl is the Girl For Me
We’re back with another feature review from our CAM fam. Check out what Elisa had to say about Bubba’s Girl and keep your eyes on our website, you never know who might be featured next… maybe even you 😃
When it comes to smoking good weed, there is no doubt that CAM is bringing some stellar products to the market. Coming in with a sleek-looking glass jar and a clean logo, it is recognizable amongst its competitors in dispensaries. Anna Willey, the CEO of CAM is no stranger to good buds. She started as a delivery girl in New York and her interest continued to build when she moved to Colorado after graduating college, which is where her real cannabis adventure began.
My adventure with CAM started with two jars of Bubba’s Girl, a cross between 98 Bubba Kush and Girl Scout Cookies which makes an interesting Indica blend. I was initially impressed with the glass jar, and admit that my hippie ways had me looking forward to what I would get to do with the jar once I smoked all of the frosty nugs inside. At first glance, the nugs had the quintessential frostiness, but they also had a nice green hue with the unmistakable orange pistils for a nice trifecta of color.
I am an avid Indica smoker and often use weed to regulate my anxiety and rapidly moving mind as my day is winding down. Bubba’s Girl smells earthy and gassy and after smoking the buds, I found a taste that matched, but a high that took me by surprise. Although it kept my mind chill like a normal Indica, I found myself smoking a joint before starting my nighttime routine and getting distracted by cleaning all of the dishes in my apartment, or by organizing my closet. Although this may not be the high everyone is searching for, this is particularly helpful for a type B personality trying to make her way in the world.
CAM’s Bubbas Girl is a nice high, not too heady or over the top, and smokes like a true Indica. I didn’t get the normal Indica tendencies like feeling super sleepy or an over-excitement to be horizontal that I experience with other Indicas, but you’re not going to hear me complain about it. Once I was settled and ready to go to bed, I had no trouble calming my mind like I do with other Indica strains, I just experienced a very productive pitstop on the way. Overall, I think that Bubba’s Girl is a tasty, earthy, frosty treat that may best be served when you’re ready to take on mindless chores and make them a bit more exciting.
