Hall Of Flowers – Santa Rosa, CA 2023

Are you ready for Hall of Flowers? Next week, the CAM family is packing up and heading for another year of Hall of Flowers. If you don’t know, this is when the industry gets together to show off all the new flavors, packaging, and products for buyers, members of the media, and budtenders! We’ll be in full effect at Booth B319 so come by and hang with us during your Hall of Flowers experience.

Northern and Southern markets get together as one and so expect to see a big crowd as we go into this year. If this is your first year, we want to make sure you have our tips on what to do as well as the events and meet-ups surrounding Hall of Flowers on your radar.

  • Pack a power bank
    • With so much to see and take pictures of at Hall of Flowers, you’re not going to have time to sit and charge your phone. Make sure to have at least two power banks for your trip and switch them out daily. Nobody wants to be that person wandering around looking for an outlet so they can get their phone to turn on.
  • There’s a line before the line
    • When you show up in the morning, don’t forget you have to pick up your passes and tickets before getting into the entrance line. If you want to be there right when the gates open, you’ll still have a good wait in front of you so give yourself plenty of time to snag breakfast and then hop into line but don’t wait too long. For day two you’ll already have a wristband and can go into the second line but if you’re only attending the second day, you’ll also have a medium-sized wait ahead of you.
  • Take your tickets in at lunch
    • Vendors will often gift you a ticket that you can take back to the retail area and redeem for a sample after a small fee. These items aren’t guaranteed to be in stock and most people wait until the end of the day to cash them all in like it’s a Chuck E. Cheese. The pop-up dispensary staff is super efficient and you’ll wait in a separate area to pick up your stuff but it can be a little overwhelming when the crowd descends right before closing. Take some time after lunch to stop off and redeem your items so you can get a jump on your dinner plans instead of waiting in line.
  • Try out the new wristband system
    • Another new development for this year is the new wristband system. Instead of keeping a pocket full of business cards, or trying to remember all the numbers you got, Hall of Flowers is making things easy as pie with NFC wristbands to let you easily share contact info without having to dig out another card for the pile.
  • Remember to stop and smoke the flowers
    • Even if you didn’t say hi to a single person, with over 155 confirmed vendors so far, you’d be hard-pressed to make it through all the booths in just a single day. Even for people who are coming for only half of the event, trying to rush means you’re going to miss having those moments of positive interaction with the people and brands you’ll meet. It’s quality over quantity so take a moment to stop into the Ispire smoking lounge or just relax out on the grass and remember that Hall of Flowers can feel a bit like a marathon, but it’s not a race.

Besides Hall Of Flowers, there are a ton of industry events happening this week as well, here’s a list of everything we know about so far.

Pre-party with Cannacraft

The whole week kicks off on Tuesday 5/2 at the Kalya/Community HQ where they’ve teamed up with Cannacraft and Hall of Flowers to host a night where industry members can meet up and smoke away any pre-show jitters. With the names Kalya and Community on the bill, you can expect to see some of the most flavorful rosins on the block before they even have a chance to start the show. DM Cannacraft or Community on Instagram to RSVP .

Gelato official After Dark after party

You might remember the videos on Instagram last year from when Gelato had local cops called on their raging afterparty. This time, they’re hosting the official Hall of Flowers afterparty at the Santa Rosa Veterans Building. Entrance is free for anyone who is wearing their wristband. Gelato said on their social media they wanted to create an over-the-top night where the people who make this whole thing happen can gather together and enjoy a free show from Cheat Codes, Lil Xan, Young Pro, and more. May 3rd from 8 PM – 2 AM at 1351 Maple Avenue in Santa Rosa

Valley Grove Pressing Party

For the Dabcentric travelers in your party, here’s the perfect event for the night of May 3rd. This place will be alive with the oohs and ahhs of live rosin pressing. Rosin Tech, the other gracious host for this fabulous evening will be on hand to keep the presses rolling and the dabs flowing at the bar. Food will also be available for the first 50 people. Things kick off around 8 PM at 1129 Sebastopol Rd. Take Uber if possible, parking is limited.

PAX Buyers Club Happy Hour

We couldn’t find much info on this invite-only shindig from PAX vaporizers but if you have a buyer in your party, then make sure they know to contact PAX for an invite to the party at the Flamingo Hotel’s Lazeaway Club, 2777 4th St in Santa Rosa from 5 PM to 10 PM on May 3rd.

Grasslands Agency Daybreaker with Ellen Holland

For the early-rising member of your group, wake up early on the 4th to check out a deep dive discussion at Grasslands Agency’s second annual Daybreaker event. Described as a “high-level networking breakfast,” it will run from 9 AM until 11 AM and this year includes a fireside chat with High Times Editor-In-Chief Ellen Holland, led by Grasslands CEO Ricardo Baca. If you always manage to miss informative talks during these types of events, this is the perfect opportunity to crawl out of bed and make it down before you have to be at the gate. With Landrace Origins sponsoring the event, there’s sure to be plenty of incredible coffee. RSVP on Instagram (@grasslandsagency)

Cinco de Higho

Jimi Devine and Chronic Culture are keeping the party going back at San Francisco’s Kapwa Gardens at the first of four qualifying events for the 2023 Trans-Bay Challenge. Devine has been known to inspire brands to bring out the best and brightest from their R&D rooms and we expect the competition to be fierce. You better believe the CAM fam is showing up to rally for another night of fun and we’re going to have some of the newest flavors on hand to show you. If you weren’t able to make it up to Santa Rosa and want to see what we’ve been up to, click the link on instagram at @chronicculture_ for tickets and we’ll see you there.
